As the Farmer's Almanac said bitterly cold and lots of snow for the Winter of 2014. We definitely got that going at the farm. Furnace problems, froze water in the goat barn and the stress on our bodies as well as the animals are what we have been facing. However, we will get through this, we always do. We are survivors.
I have been visiting and babysitting for my kids quite abit of late. Our new family addition was born December 27, 2013. Malaya is a beautiful and mellow baby. So sweet it makes my heart ache with love. I was actually there for her whole birth. What miracles we create.
The snow is so bright and clean at the farm. So pretty. I love the quiet and peace that surrounds it this time of year.
The new siding, windows and insulation sure made a huge difference at my farm at Turtle Lake. An investment well worthwhile.
I'm grateful that all my kids have jobs and continue to do well. My grandkids, siblings and Mom are doing good too.
