Summer at last! We get to do fun stuff now, not just work on the farm. Occasionally, we go out to see a movie and out to eat. However, Farm Technology Days is at Dallas. We are going to go through the farm this week. Also Barron County Fair is coming up. Looking forward to seeing that with my grandbabies and kids. I've been doing plenty of babysitting grandkids of late. Enjoy that, it keeps me young.
My latest project is- I'm having new windows, insulation and siding put on my farm at Turtle Lake. I've been saving for this and can't wait until it is finished. My grand ole farmhouse is getting a facelift.
On the SherDen Farm front, we got our first crop hay in with not a drop of rain on it. Looks wonderful. Garden and flowers are looking better than I expected due to all the Spring rainfall.
Animals are doing good. However, no new goat kids. Dennis is just milking Shay and not enough to make goat cheese.
I get out to Renee's place occasionally to see her new foals, horses and other critters. Here is info. on what her animal rescue is about.
