Farm life isn't for everybody. Although there is sadness with animal deaths, there is also alot of amazing things. Like taking part in live births, hands on, new babies being born, the open land and fresh country air. All the farm activity, gardening, haying, chores. The smell of fresh cut hay or grass, lilacs, flowers, seeing nature daily in the birds, animals, bees, and weather. You respect what you have, whether it is an aged, newborn, young, injured or ill pet/critter. Plants and flowers, the rain. Farm life teaches you to take time to smell the roses and look about you. To take it all in, and not take things for granted, whether joyous or sad. All is the circle of life. I do love country living.
