Wisconsin weather has been great. We are at 23 above today and it hasn't been that cold since last February for a daytime temp. No snow on the ground and temps reaching 40's for the beginning of December. Looks like another mild Winter ahead.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and we had another funfilled family one.
On the farm front, Destiny had twin bucks on October 28th. We sold the baby bucks to a nice family that lives close by. They are keeping them as pets. We are hoping that Shay and Solo are bred and will be having babies next year. My two aged horses are holding their own so far. I notice more arthritis in their legs. But considering one is in his 20's and the mare pushing that, they are about as good as they will get. Lindy pony, my youngest at 10 yrs. is doing well. She's the grandkid's pony. My Star hens are laying great. I've been selling enough eggs to pay for their laying mash and we have all the fresh eggs we want. The barn cats are putting on their winter weight. The cats have been ridding the farm of mice and moles.
I've been busy with my coupon trading, product testing and surveys. I read books for enjoyment. Also doing my daily exercising on the elliptical. Dennis spends his time at the gun range plus making goat cheese.
Enjoy the last of Autumn. Winter is just around the corner. Happy Holidays!
